Terms of Use
Effective October 3, 2026. These terms apply to M² Tropos, M² Weather web services, M² Spotter, and authorized Field Mode features.
M² Tropos is supplemental weather information. Do not rely on it as your only warning source. Keep official Wireless Emergency Alerts and other authoritative weather sources enabled, and follow instructions from public-safety officials.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, interfere with infrastructure, evade access controls, impersonate others, submit knowingly false storm reports, or use Field Mode while operating a vehicle in a way that creates a safety risk.
Weather and operational information
Weather observations, model-derived products, radar visualization, routing context, storm projections, and M²-generated intelligence can be delayed, incomplete, or uncertain. Operational decisions remain the responsibility of the user or organization making them.
M² Spotter and Field Mode
Restricted features require authorization. Spotters must report direct observations accurately and comply with program requirements. M² may suspend or revoke access when necessary for safety, integrity, or abuse prevention.
Live Video
Live Video is for authorized internal operational use. Broadcasters are responsible for lawful camera and microphone use and must not use the feature while driving. Streams may fail because of network, browser, NAT, device, or peer-connectivity conditions.
Availability
The service may change, experience outages, or be unavailable. M² may modify or discontinue features as the product evolves.
